Osteria Seta is a small dairy, Tuscan restaurant, a place in Chianti Region where to drink an excellent organic and kosher Chianti Classico wine and taste other local products, part of them picked from the organic vegetable garden, close to the restaurant.
An osteria (Italian pronunciation: oste'ria), in Italy was originally a place serving good wine and simple local food. Maria and Daniele decided to apply their experience in wine and food, opening at their winery the new Osteria Seta (Silk Restaurant). Their intention is to integrate the traditional Tuscan cuisine with the choice of having an organic vegetable garden, and imposing the strictest kosher certification, all this to share with friends and new guests. After four generations of restaurateurs, Seta is the 9th Tuscan restaurant of the family!

Therefore, this new restaurant is a new Tuscan sensory experience for who keeps kosher and not, for who wants to stop by the winery just to appreciate local food, with fresh ingredients and a lot of taste, with a special atmosphere!

It is important to remember that in Siena, just twenty-five minutes far from the winery, there is a splendid and ancient synagogue that deserves a visit. An opportunity for the small Jewish community of Siena to be known for its cultural, historical and religious aspects.
