Some history of the Rimon Place
The Kosher Boutique Hotel "Giardino Del Ghetto" is a magnificent 1800 century building, fully renovated interiorly, whom was once used as the Old Age Home for Jewish residents of Venice.

With the time, as residents started moving to other big communities of Italy, this magnificent building has been left empty, while still serving the community of Venice.

Today, the Building is used as a Kosher Hotel open all year round, a Restaurant and as a special events meeting point.

Address:
Campo di Ghetto Nuovo, 2874 - Venice
Website:
The Jewish Community of Venice is glad to welcome its guests to the only kosher residence of the city, ideally located in the oldest and best preserved Jewish Ghetto of Europe, right in front of the Jewish Museum and Synagogues and within walking distance to all the most important tourist and cultural sites and also Santa Lucia train station, the bus station, the cruise ship port and the “vaporetto” (public water bus).

The location of the Kosher House, in the historic centre but off of the most crowded streets, lends a sense of peace to the city’s charm.

The marvellous pomegranate garden, in Hebrow pomegranate is rimonim, that leads to the building, rapresents an exclusive and unique space, where you can spend pleasant and relaxing moments. The pomegranate in Jewish tradition is a symbole of prosperity and wealth. The 600 seeds it contains remind us of the 613 Mitzwoth.

This residence is part of a historical building and has been totally restored and refurbished in a minimal and essential style.
